As you know by now, I’m working and living most of the time at oak Island, NC. I work as a real estate agent at Lynda Haraway Group. No matter how far a woman gets away from her home, she knows her kitchen up one side and down the other. So my son and my husband call this morning looking for our BBQ sauce recipe, that my husband came up with many years ago. I tell them a dozen times, look in the burgundy notebook, they say there are several in that cabinet, I said there is only 1 burgundy notebook, old school, that you put notebook paper in, they say there is one that says campmeeting cookbook, by this point i’m about ready to snatch them through the phone and slap both of them, again I say the old school type NOTEBOOK, when you open it, the recipe will be in the pocket on the left. Finally after 5 mins. of explaining it, they locate the notebook which if it were a snake it would have bit them, then they ask where will it be in here? Again I say look on the left side, in the pocket. Oh yeah we found it they say!! I say DUH! to myself. You got to love them. I miss them and all their crazy ways everyday. Lord I love them all.
